Sizzix/Tim Holtz Paper Village - launch of the new Upkeep die set

 I love houses, and this release is just mindblowing. Now you can add a proper tiled roof to your tiny house, not to mention decorate it with the beautiful window and door frames. It has been incredibly fun to participate in this launch, and be given the opportunity to inspire others with my creativity.

I was inspired to make several projects, among them these cute Halloween houses that I hung on some larch branches I found in the forest. 

So fun that the numbers from the newly released Sidekick Starter set fit on the the doors of the houses:)

Collaboration with Sizzix and Tim Holtz on the launch of the Frosty Sidekick and starter set

So fun to be asked to collaborate on this launch. Here is what I made using the new Sidekick and the dies from the starter set. Great to use on projects like cards and layouts, and on envelopes like mine.

When the kids were small, I used to make envelopes like this, filled with x-words and other games to keep them busy during a flight. You could also use these envelopes to put small treasures in, to take home. Later  they were put in the photo album together with photos from the trip.

To decorate these homemade, white envelopes I used Distress Inks and Distress Oxides. I wanted to make a vintage look, and these colours were perfect to use.
