New Colorize Mini Animals from Sizzix by Tim Holtz

What a joy to be asked to collaborate in the release of Tim Holtz´ Colorize Mini Animals! I had so much fun creating with these adorable lovelies :)

I chose Theodore as my first project. He is quite a charmer. The flowers, the mountain and the cute woodpecker are also dies from Siizzix/Tim Holtz.

Here you can see the difference in size from the "old" Theodore versus the mini version. Also notice how fun the new mini accessoirs are, and how much personality they add.

How fun isn´t it to also make him a polar bear and a panda:)

Next up is Clarence the mini elephant. In my version he has just finished uni and is off for his first job:)

The suitcase is an old Sizzix/Tim Holtz die that I have used so many times. The cloud, the flowers, the numbers and the ink; all from the same brand.

The Clarence family. Look at the difference in size. So gorgeous in both sizes. The smallest is also perfect for smaller tags.

In this wintery scene I also added the little Easter rabbit. He seems happy on the back of his best friend:)

And here: Clarenca on holiday:)

Here comes Gertrude. She is so sassy. Just look at her partying with her friends. Also here in both sizes.

CSI Case File No. 262: Butterfly Waltz by Brian Crain

The second case file of this month over at CSI is perfect if you want to make a page about your pet. If you don´t have one, you could always go for one of the other options in "testimony", or just be inspired by colours or "the scene". Here it is:

My DT page is about a Saturday in August, when my teenagers played a lovely piece called Butterfly Waltz on piano and soprano saxophone in church for their older brother at his wedding day. I picked the word "happy" from the testimony, and used the following clues: stripes, brads, dots, insects/butterflies, leaves, flower, rhinestones swirl, hearts and music-themes elements.

Førjulstid - gjestedesigner i PLIN

CSI Case File No 236: Ship ahoy

Case file no. 236 is all about pirates, skulls and crossbones! Enjoy yourselves making a scary or a cute pirate layout:-) You have until the end of the month to join this fun challenge!

Here is my layout showing the pirate party my son had on his 7th birthday some years ago.

Evidence to solve this case: flags/banner, wet medium, nautical elements, clouds, sun, birds, (palm) trees, wave shape, triangles and skull and crossbone.

CSI Case File No. 232

Photos from camping and field trips are perfect for this CSI challenge. My page tells the story of birthday celebration outdoors by a lavvu. Even though this was in cold February, the kids enjoyed themselves running around playing and exploring the surroundings. My daughter of course wanted to dress up in a skirt (on top of her rain gear;-)

Evidence: wood background/accents, animals, trees and stitching

Testimony: Document something about the outdoors

Major Case File No. 219: Christmas Morning

Imagine the feeling of getting up early on Christmas morning when you were a child. The excitement and the joy when you open up the presents and get the exact thing you wished for. This year my little santas were overjoyed by a box of Lego and a Barbie dvd:-)

Here is my take on the Major Case File No. 219 on the CSI blog challenge. Perfect colors for a Christmas layout:-)

Halloweenparty

Hovudutfordringa denne månaden i CSI inkluderer ei artig skisse frå The Nifty Pixel. Innleveringsfrist 31. oktober.

Bursdagskort

...til veslejenta som er blitt stor:-)

Stempel frå Lili of the Valley passar svært bra når ein har nådd tenåra og får ny telefon til bursdagen. Ballongdiesane er frå Kort & Godt.

A birthday card for my little girl who isn´t so little anymore:-)

Stamps from Lili of the Valley were perfect for this card as she got a new cellphone for her birthday.

The balloon dies are from Kort & Godt.

CSI Case File No 209
