Sizzix/Tim Holtz Paper Village - launch of the new Upkeep die set

I love houses, and this release is just mindblowing. Now you can add a proper tiled roof to your tiny house, not to mention decorate it with the beautiful window and door frames. It has been incredibly fun to participate in this launch, and be given the opportunity to inspire others with my creativity.

I was inspired to make several projects, among them these cute Halloween houses that I hung on some larch branches I found in the forest.

So fun that the numbers from the newly released Sidekick Starter set fit on the the doors of the houses:)

Collaboration with Sizzix and Tim Holtz on the launch of the Frosty Sidekick and starter set

So fun to be asked to collaborate on this launch. Here is what I made using the new Sidekick and the dies from the starter set. Great to use on projects like cards and layouts, and on envelopes like mine.

When the kids were small, I used to make envelopes like this, filled with x-words and other games to keep them busy during a flight. You could also use these envelopes to put small treasures in, to take home. Later  they were put in the photo album together with photos from the trip.

To decorate these homemade, white envelopes I used Distress Inks and Distress Oxides. I wanted to make a vintage look, and these colours were perfect to use.

Gift tags 2026 - Sizzix and Tim Holtz`Christmas launch

I also made these gift tags for the Tim Holtz live on YouTube where I embossed the tags in the most beautiful snowflakes embossing folder. I just love the reindeer in the die set called Vault Papercut Christmas, and dressed him up to resemble different family members. I used Distress Oxides and Ink to colour the clothes, frames and ribbon. Such a fun project:)

Advent calendar 2026 - Sizzix and Tim Holtz Christmas launch

I made this advent calendar for Tim Holtz´ live on YouTube to showcase his and Sizzix` new Christmas collection. I used the new and beautiful poinsetta embossing folder for the front, placing two Yuletide Harveys as guards before the opening. Inside I made 24 small boxes for little advent gifts, each decorated using dies from this collection.

Twig & Stump putting a star on the sky

Another make with the cute Twig & Stump. I also cut out a couple of minis, to make a whole family. Same bucket hat for dad and his son:)

I made the background of Distress inks and the snow appears when you splat some drops of water on the paper. Rather a nice effect. The scarf on Stump I got from another die set; Accessories for the mini animals launched earlier this year.

Wiper card with the Christmas Foliage Wreath by Tim Holtz and Sizzix

I had this cardstock with eclectic colours from Sizzix, and decided I wanted to use it to recreate the beautiful wreath on the cover of the Christmas Foliage Wreath die set. I also wanted to do some fun on the inside, and made an easy wiper card, using another die set from this release. So fun:)

The Christmas Collection from Tim Holtz and Sizzix is here!

So much fun to be asked to participate in the launch of the Christmas collection by Tim Holtz and Sizzix. My favourites are the adorable Twig & Stump. I started off this week by making a tag with the two of them:)

Here are all the fantastic skus from the launch. Tomorrow, Saturday, at 18.00 Tim Holtz will host a live on Youtube where he will tell us all about this collection, and show all the different makes from different designers around the world. I am very much looking forward to this inspiration.

Skulls and ghouls and a foliage wreath:)

I wanted to create a few tags with the slightly smaller foliage wreath released this week by Sizzix/Tim Holtz. It looks pretty good on a tag in this size. I made two Halloween tags, and two fall cards. Neutral colors for the first two, brighter colors for the other two.

Spencer the skull is also part of this new collection. I think he looks great, but felt he needed some eyes to come "alive":)

Leaf fragments

These beautiful leaf fragments are also part of the Sizzix/Tim Holtz release this month, now scaled down so they will fit smaller projects. I enjoyed myself using lots of stains, inks and oxides to create these fall colors.
